Program Overview
The Manicurist Program at Top Secret Beauty Spa Academy is a comprehensive educational course designed to teach students the art and techniques of professional nail care. This program combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience to ensure a well-rounded education. Completion of the manicure program provides students with a solid foundation to pursue a career as a licensed manicurist or nail technician.

Admission Requirements​

Basic Skills Classes: As stated, prospective students must complete basic skills courses based on their scores from our intuition entrance exam. This ensures that all students have the foundational knowledge necessary to thrive in the program.

Selective Admission: Our program admits new students throughout the semesters, allowing for flexibility and accessibility. However, due to high demand and limited class sizes, admission is competitive, and meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance.

High School Diploma or GED: Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent to ensure they have the necessary educational background for advanced learning.

Licensing and Certification
Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the TDLR examination for licensure. Passing this exam provides the necessary certification for immediate employment or self-employed opportunities in the nail care field.​

Academic Standards

Grade Requirement: Students are required to achieve a minimum grade of 70% or higher in all program courses to qualify for the certificate of completion.

Completion Requirements
All students are required to complete the full 600 hours and achieve all 17 credits to graduate from the Nail Therapy Program successfully. This comprehensive approach ensures students are thoroughly prepared for both the TDLR Examination and a professional career in nail care.
